Attorney Eric Mandel has experienced e-discovery from plenty of angles, be it in-house, as part of a national law firm, or, for the past year and a half, as part of his own practice. But one of the few places he hasn’t yet experienced e-discovery is as part of a large information services and software provider—at least until now.

Last week, Ricoh USA announced that the company has hired Mandel as director of solutions architecture for the company’s e-discovery division. In the role, Mandel will lead Ricoh’s team of solutions architects in tandem with Ricoh’s growing e-discovery operations division headed by David Greetham.
