Two UK-based attorneys have adopted programmatic reasoning technology to design a consumer-facing legal tool.

That tool is called “LISA”—standing for “Legal Intelligence Support Assistant,” LISA walks users through the process of creating a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). To do so, the tool guides users through a 10-12 question exchange about what the document should include, compiles responses into a useable agreement, and sends the proposed NDA to any designated parties along with a set of guidance notes explaining various pieces of the proposed agreement. Parties can then use the tool to propose changes, which are sent back to the original author with accompanying guidance notes, recommendations for a final check, and directions on how to execute the NDA.
