E-discovery provider Consilio has been at the center of a number of mergers and acquisitions in the past two years, with perhaps none bigger than its December addition of Huron Legal. Particularly, Consilio has focused on growing its U.S. user base—an emphasis that has led it to acquire a Texas-based e-discovery company.

Today, Consilio announced that it is acquiring EQD, a Houston-based e-discovery, document review and litigation support services provider. Formed in 1994, EQD provides e-discovery tools, along with forensic collections, project management, managed document review and other services. In addition to Houston, the company also has offices in Dallas and New York City.
