Times are tumultuous in the Supreme Court. With no slated confirmation data for the late Justice Antonin Scalia’s replacement, the court remains at eight members while deciding this year’s cases, which the Center for American Progress (CAP) referred to in a statement as “one of the most impactful terms of the past 50 years.”

Given the magnitude of upcoming decisions, CAP is aiming to keep the public informed on how these cases may affect them as well as updated on the latest developments. To do so, CAP’s legal policy program, Legal Progress, announced NeedTheNine.org, a website featuring resources like videos and case briefs with insights from legal professionals on why the Court and its upcoming decisions matter.
