Companies in the UK are on top of data security and protection — or dangerously leaving themselves open to breaches. It all depends on whom you ask, according to Code42’s 2016 Datastrophe Study, which surveyed 400 IT managers, CIOs, and CISOs, and 1,500 employees in large UK corporations.

The report found a large amount data in UK companies may be held in vulnerable spots – C-level executives and IT decision makers believed that 45 percent of their company’s data rests on endpoint devices, and almost a third of IT managers said they are unaware of, or do not have, endpoint security protections.
