The European Union Commission and the United States have come up with a new initial agreement for transatlantic data flows.
Though the agreement still needs EU approvals, EU officials said in a statement, “This new framework will protect the fundamental rights of Europeans where their data is transferred to the United States and ensure legal certainty for businesses.”
