The business of law is more closely aligned with technology than ever before—but CIOs from across the Am Law 200 certainly have their differences when it comes to their respective approaches to software strategies. According to the results of the 2015 Am Law-LTN Tech Survey, while more law firms (61 percent) use data analytics software or Big Data tools to learn more about clients, potential clients, or otherwise focus business development efforts, the jury is still out for some firms when it comes to the use of other cloud-based services.

Of the 79 law firms that responded to the survey, they split almost evenly down the middle when asked whether they embrace cloud computing (51 percent do, while 49 percent do not).
