Chef, which provides automation for DevOps software development, has been cooking up something new in the kitchen. On Nov. 3, the company announced the arrival of new products that aim to automate change management for the entire application and infrastructure stack.

Workflow automation product Chef Delivery, which automatically assigns parts of the development process to various members of an organization, will integrate with new product Chef Compliance to automate infrastructure, runtime environments, applications and compliance policies. This combination, Chef officials said, will allow software developers to produce products more quickly and with increased security.
