NetVoyage Corp., doing business as NetDocuments, a document and email managed service provider, today announced the acquisition of Recommind Inc.’s Decisiv Email, an on-premise email management system with automatic categorization. The acquisition included Decisiv Email’s technology and its development team based in Sydney.
Decisiv Email searches and surveys email content storage systems and tracks users’ filing patterns to predict where email will be filed. When a user moves mail from Decisiv Email to a content or document management system, the product predicts the filing folder and presents it to the user for one-click storage. This method facilitates on-premise email archiving and lends itself well to email management on mobile devices.
