The Internet of Things is growing rapidly and will impact nearly every facet of society in the coming years, including e-discovery.

A session called “E-Discovery and the Internet of Things” delved into this topic Thursday at the Georgetown Law Advanced E-Discovery Institute in The Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner. McLean, Va. Approximately 120 conference attendees sat for the IoT panel moderated by Ralph Losey, shareholder at Jackson Lewis. Panelists included: Monique Altheim, New York City-based e-discovery and data privacy attorney; Ignatius Grande, senior discovery attorney and director of practice support at Hughes Hubbard & Reed; and Mark Michels, director at Deloitte Transactions and Business Analytics.
