Technology will bring change and disruption to the law, as it does with anything. But what’s not clear is how that change will come about, and whether that disruption will be a bad thing.
In a recent post on TechnoLawyer, publisher (and former corporate lawyer) Neil Squillante tries to break down disruption. “Pundits who predict doom and gloom for lawyers don’t understand disruption theory,” he said. Squillante recounted three types of disruption and they don’t apply to all lawyers across the board.
