This winter, the University of Chicago Law School will offer "Generative AI in Legal Practice," a course teaching law students how to harness generative artificial intelligence skills in an industry that is beginning to require them.
Ed Walters, chief strategy officer at legal research software company vLex, will be teaching the class after having co-taught the Georgetown Law Center course "Gen AI and Big Law" with professor Tanina Rostain, which exposed students to using gen AI to perform legal tasks and its implications.

The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota.
