The fourth annual Legalweek Leaders in Tech Law Awards honor individuals and organizations for their achievements in innovation over the past year in a wide range of categories across law firms, legal departments and technology providers.

Not surprisingly, the introduction of generative AI into the legal industry pushed innovation and product development to levels we’ve not previously seen. Those efforts have been recognized in a number of new categories that join our previous list of honors.

After much consideration, the shortlist of finalists has been whittled down from an extensive list of worthy nominees. Our esteemed external judging panel will now spend the next few weeks scrutinizing each entry to help us choose the best of the best in each category. I do not envy the tough choices they have ahead of them.

We are also announcing the winners of the Lifetime Achievement Awards. Because many of the careers of our honorees have touched multiple parts of the legal ecosystem, including law firms, in-house departments and providers, this year we’ve chosen to recognize them all together as our Legal Industry Lifetime Achievement Award Winners.

The winners in all categories will be announced at an in-person awards ceremony on January 29, 2024, during the 2024 Legalweek conference in New York. For more information on attending the event, please visit our event page or contact our sales director Andre Sutton at [email protected].

Congratulations to everyone who submitted for this year’s awards—these decisions were not easy.
