Hot on the heels of Independence Day, Mark Zuckerberg and his company Meta sent their first shot over the bow to Twitter. On July 5th, Meta’s text-based app Threads, designed to rival Twitter, made its debut. And let me tell you, it made quite a splash!

Commencing what is likely to be an epic battle for text-based social media dominance, Meta unleashed this new contender, aiming to claim the throne.
