Contract life cycle management (CLM) provider SirionLabs has laid off about 15% of its global workforce, or about 130 employees, according to an exclusive report from Indian tech publication Inc42.

While the news was reported publicly on Jan. 25, the layoff news was delivered to affected employees in an email from SirionLabs  founder and CEO Ajay Agrawal on Jan. 17. According to the report, Agrawal said in the email that the layoff decision came as SirionLabs “has to shift its business strategy toward profitability due to the current macroeconomic environment, and this will result in downsizing.”
