Splunk, a producer of software for analyzing big data, filed a copyright and patent infringement lawsuit against former employee Clint Sharp on Wednesday in Delaware District Court. The suit, filed by Fish & Richardson, accuses Sharp of misappropriating intellectual property to launch competing software company Cribl Inc. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 1:22-cv-01313, Splunk Inc. v. Cribl Inc. et al.
