Today, Chicago-based legal pro bono technology platform Paladin announced it has closed on an $8 million Series A funding round, led by venture capital fund World Within, with participation from repeat investors Mark Cuban, American Family Institute for Corporate and Social Impact, C2V, Concrete Rose and Hyde Park Venture Partners, along with new investors Vamos Ventures, The 98 and Engage VC among others.
The company noted it will use the investment to accomplish two main goals: accelerate product development for its existing customers who have growing pro bono needs, and scale internationally to create multinational partnerships with companies in underserved regions.
