Today LexisNexis revealed its latest addition to its Lexis+ software suite, a multi-brief analyzer called Judicial Brief Analysis. But don’t let the new software’s name fool you, it’s intended for use by judges, litigators and clerks, noted LexisNexis senior director Elizabeth Christman. “We wanted to do more and really get a user into a judge’s shoes or a law clerk’s shoes and look at a law brief the way they would,” Christman said.

What it Is: Judicial Brief Analysis is somewhat of an expansion of Lexis+’s Brief Analysis feature that was released when Lexis+ launched in July 2020, Christman said. Now, instead of analyzing one brief at a time, users can compare up to six documents at once, three documents for the plaintiffs and three documents for the defense.
