E-discovery and legal service provider Lighthouse announced it is acquiring e-discovery company H5 in a bid to bolster its document review abilities and fill its consultancy and tech gaps. According to a press release issued by Lighthouse, the H5 acquisition is set to close in Q3 2021. No financial details were provided regarding the deal.

Prior to the acquisition, Lighthouse offered e-discovery and information governance to primarily large corporate legal departments and some law firms. But since the e-discovery provider launched over 25 years ago, CEO Brian McManus said corporate legal departments’ stances regarding digital legal services and the cloud have begun to shift.
