A federal judicial panel has ordered that nearly 30 lawsuits filed over Google’s casino-style apps be transferred to the Northern District of California.

In a Thursday order, the U.S. Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation sent the cases to U.S. District Judge Edward Davila, who is overseeing similar lawsuits against Apple in San Jose, California. The lawsuits allege that the apps, available on the Google Play Store, constitute unlawful gambling because they operate like slots, poker, blackjack and bingo.
