There’s a shortage of women in science, technology, engineering and math. But within the legal tech community, there are many women with thriving careers. Legaltech News presents our latest “STEM Cell” profile, where Sherry Kappel recently interviewed Allison Shields Johs, president at Legal Ease Consulting. This profile is a continuation of the Women of Legal Tech series originally published by Editor Monica Bay “in order to inspire girls, women (and men).”

Between April and the end of June 2021, we’ll feature six 2015 honorees on the American Bar Association Legal Technology Resource Center’s “Women of Legal Tech” list. This was the inaugural year of the list and featured a tremendous group of women, who are now part of a six-year (and counting!) tradition of honoring women in legal tech. 2015 was also the year that Monica Bay retired from ALM and so it seems fitting that we pick up where she left off.
