Linklaters said Monday that it has hired two former federal prosecutors most recently in Prudential Financial’s legal department for a new U.S. data solutions, cyber and privacy practice, as client demand for cybersecurity work remains brisk.

Partner Erez Liebermann was chief counsel for privacy and cybersecurity at Prudential and previously served as deputy chief of the criminal division at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of New Jersey. Counsel Andrew Pak worked as corporate counsel in the same unit at Prudential. They are based in the global firm’s New York office.
