Epiq announced Tuesday the release of Epiq Access, a cloud-based, end-to-end solution that allows corporate and law firm users to tie multiple tools, plus their security log-ins and support requests, together under one roof. While the new digital client service platform was conceived well before the pandemic, the spread of COVID-19 and the ensuing shift toward remote working may have opened up some new use cases for the tool.

Practically, the new offering means Epiq users can use a single sign-on to access their existing services from technology partners such as Relativity, Everlaw and file transfer software GoAnywhere. Epiq plans to announce other forthcoming tie-ins in the near future. Stratford Dick, senior vice president of product management at Epiq, indicated that the Access platform was in part an attempt to keep the door open for integrations with the constantly expanding lineup of legal tech products being dropped onto the market.
