In a crowded market of online platforms aiming to connect lawyers to corporate and individual clients, it can become difficult to stick out from competition. But lawyer marketplace Justis Connection isn’t seeking all lawyers—instead, it’s specifically targeting Black attorneys.

Launched in 2019, Justis Connection founder and CEO Kisha Brown sought to showcase the capabilities of Black lawyers to those seeking legal counsel. After a year of manually referring lawyers and drafting attorneys’ bios, Brown is set to nationally expand her network of Black lawyers by the second half of 2021.
