Allen & Overy expects its lawyers and staff to be able to work remotely 40% of the time on average in the future, management has told the firm, the latest move by a major international firm to change its working practices.
According to one person at the firm, A&O senior partner Wim Dejonghe told the global business earlier in March that the firm expects its people to work from its offices for around 60% of the time, depending on individual requirements, as law firms prepare to re-open their bases across the globe.
