Today, legal research company Lex Machina, which is a part of LexisNexis, announced it has added case data from New York County Supreme Court to its main legal analytics platform. The addition includes information on more than 119,000 civil court cases filed from January 2016 onward and allows users to research cases by type, trial resolutions and rulings, as well as participating entities such as judges, attorneys and parties, among other variables.

Lex Machina noted that it also will add court data from New York City’s four other boroughs by the end of 2020. Carla Rydholm, Lex Machina’s director of product management, said the company plans on “starting with Kings County in a couple of weeks and other boroughs in December.”
