Today Fastcase announced it acquired fellow legal research platform Judicata in a move to enhance its own legal analysis features. The acquisition comes at a time when the company is looking to provide a broader range of legal services.

While financial details were not disclosed, Judicata’s reach in the legal industry will undoubtedly grow due to the acquisition. Previously, Judicata only provided analysis of California case law. Now, Judicata’s search features will be leveraged in Fastcase and Docket Alarm Inc., a docket alerting and analytics company Fastcase acquired in 2018.
