After acquiring several e-discovery competitors, enterprise management solutions provider OpenText Corp. appears poised to make a splash in the cybersecurity industry with its recent purchase of data protection platform Carbonite Inc.
OpenText announced it acquired the company for $23 per Carbonite share, valuing the Boston-based company at $1.42 billion, according to a press release.
