The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) is set to go into effect at the beginning of 2020, and by all indications (and recent legislative hearings), its privacy mandates for companies will be substantial. Plus, it’s not alone—even for companies that don’t have to deal with the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), other state laws and eventually even a federal privacy law could be on the horizon.

But one startup is hoping to make complying with those privacy regulations easier, and it’s debuting a system powered by bots and automation to do it. SECURITI.ai launched its first product today, named PRIVACI.ai, that it bills as “the world’s first ‘PrivacyOps’ platform.”
