Former Linklaters senior partner Elliott to chair Irish bank

Former Linklaters senior partner Robert Elliott has been appointed as the next chairman of Irish bank Permanent TSB Group Holdings.

Elliott (pictured) will take over as chairman of the bank from 31 March, succeeding outgoing chairman Alan Cook, who is retiring.
