More than half of legal professionals based in the Middle East believe their firm’s use of technology is no better than ‘fair’, according to a new survey of in-house and private practice lawyers in the region.
The Legal Week Intelligence and Thomson Reuters report, which is based on the views of senior lawyers in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Kuwait, including GCs and partners, states that that 53% of respondents said their firm’s adoption of legal technology was ‘fair’, ‘poor’ or ‘very poor’.
