Kirkland & Ellis had another strong year in 2015, with gross revenue rising 7.2% to $2.305bn (£1.62bn), according to preliminary reporting by Legal Week sister title The American Lawyer.

While net income increased 7%, profits per equity partner rose 2.7% to $3.604m (£2.53m), as profits were divided among more equity partners. Revenue per lawyer increased 4.3% to $1.424m (£999,000).
