DLA Piper saw its global revenue surpass $2.5bn (£1.79bn) for the first time in 2015, but its topline gains were offset by a sharp decline in profits, writes The Am Law Daily.

DLA’s gross revenue rose 2.5% in the last fiscal year, to a new high of $2.54bn, while average revenue per lawyer inched up 0.7%, to $675,000. The firm’s net profit fell 9.2% to $605.5m (£483.5m), however, and its profit margin slumped three percentage points, to 24%.
