Cooley saw net profit skyrocket 21.1% to $369.5m (£256.5m) as revenue surged 13.7% to $912m (£633.1m), writes The American Lawyer sister title The Recorder.
The figures, buoyed in part by the firm’s entry to London, where it opened at the start of 2015, translated into revenue per lawyer of $1.14m (£791,000), an enviable 7.5% increase. Profits per partner rose 8.6% to $1.89m (£1.3m).
