Slaughter and May has joined Linklaters and CMS Cameron McKenna in offering staff a shared parental leave package above the statutory minimum mandated by legislation that came into force last month.
Under the legislation, which applies to parents with babies born from April this year, women can opt to share all bar the first two weeks of their 52 weeks of maternity leave and 39 weeks of statutory maternity pay with their partners.
