Mills & Reeve, Spanish firm Laffer Abogados and Liverpool outfit Brabners have taken the advisory roles on Argentinian footballer Angel Di Maria’s transfer to Manchester United from Real Madrid for a British record fee of £59.7m.
Mills & Reeve’s six-lawyer team advising the 26-year-old winger on his five-year-contract, which was officially signed on Tuesday (26 August), included senior solicitor Andrew Macdonald and employment partner Richard Santy.
