Anjarwalla & Khanna, Bowman Gilfillan and Webber Wentzel are among the entrants to be shortlisted for the title of African Law Firm of the Year as Legal Week unveils the contenders for its inaugural African Legal Awards, to be held at La Toscana Montecasino in Johannesburg on 24 October.
Aspen Pharmacare, Eskom, Siemens and The Anglo American Group are in the running for Legal Department of the Year – Large Team while Josie Lyon from Virgin Active South Africa, Louche Joubert from British American Tobacco South Africa, Growthpoint Properties’ Madeline Truter and Eskom’s Willie Du Plessis are up for General Counsel of the Year.
