Holman Fenwick Willan (HFW) has elected Paul Dean as its new global head of shipping, taking the reins from George Eddings, who this week took up the role of managing partner at the firm. Dean, who also started in his new position this week, previously headed up the firm's personal injury practice and has spent his whole career at HFW after qualifying at the firm in 1991 and making partner in 2000.
