The UK's top 100 law firms have seen average year-on-year fee income growth of 3.4% for the second quarter of the 2012-13 financial year – the slowest rate of growth for seven quarters. The figures, contained in Deloitte's quarterly law firm survey, mark the fourth consecutive quarter that growth across the top 100 group has slowed, with the bulk of this quarter's increase attributed to mid-tier merger activity.
