Travers Smith and Nabarro are advising on UK property group London & Stamford's takeover of developer Metric Property Investments, in a deal set to create a combined real estate company worth more than £800m. The deal, which will see the combined firm named LondonMetric Property, has seen London & Stamford offer £209m for Metric, with Metric shareholders set to own 25% and London & Stamford 75% of the merged group's share capital.
