Scots firm Maclay Murray & Spens has sold its fixed fee employment law and health & safety consultancy Law At Work (LAW) to the company’s management for an undisclosed fee.
The decision, which comes amid a strategic review at Maclays, saw the MBO led by Maclays former chief executive Magnus Swanson (pictured), who is also LAW’s chairman, alongside LAW chief executive Jane Wright and director of legal services Donald McKinnon. The trio are LAW’s only shareholders.
