“I am a law student at a top 15 uni with a training contract lined up at a top 10 law firm. I achieved strong results in my first two years of my undergrad degree; however, one of my exams went absolutely disastrously this year, and I’m horrified that I may have failed it meaning I would not be able to graduate this year, but wait until next year to resit.

“I’m therefore terrified that I will lose my training contract because of this. Does anyone know how flexible firms are with this sort of thing? I would still be joining the firm at the same time even if I failed and had to do my resit next year, as I have deferred.
