The dramatic end of US giant Dewey & LeBoeuf was nearly in sight on Friday (11 May) as most support staff saw their last day in its New York headquarters and a six-partner bankruptcy team led by Martin Bienenstock announced their departure.

Bienenstock was one of the last two members of Dewey’s office of the chairman, and with his departure, Washington DC partner Charles Landgraf is now the sole remaining member of the US law firm’s governing body, reports The Am Law Daily.
