“I have always dreamed of being a corporate lawyer since the age of nine. I had a top rate education; I graduated from a top rate college, uni and law school with a 2:1 at undergraduate level (studying law) and a distinction at law school. I trained at a top 10 law firm in London and hoped to qualify in corporate. However, on qualification I was not offered a position in corporate but a position in regulatory instead.

“Because I really wanted to pursue corporate law I decided not to take the position in regulatory and instead went abroad to work in-house. To boost my business knowledge, the company I worked at suggested I get a MBA. By the time I complete my one-year MBA I will have been out of the UK for just over two years.
