Berwin Leighton Paisner (BLP) and Slaughter and May have advised on the $1bn (£632m) sale of a 24% stake in Indonesian mining company Bumi.

BLP advised the sellers, commodities trader Bakrie & Brothers and Indonesian investment company Long Haul Holdings, with a team led by City corporate finance partner Benjamin Lee, Singapore head Alistair Duffield and Singapore banking partner Tahirah Ara.
