The London offices of Norton Rose and Clifford Chance (CC) have advised on a €3bn (£2.5bn) covered bond programme for Greece’s Piraeus Bank.

Norton Rose advised Barclays Capital (BarCap) as lead arranger on the debt capital markets transaction, which also included the first issue in the programme – €1.25bn (£1.05bn) worth of floating rate covered bonds due 2014, listed on the Luxembourg stock exchange.
