Cadwalader Wickersham & Taft's former London head Bob Link has stepped down from the firm and retired from the practice of law, reports The New York Law Journal. Link, who in 2009 was tasked with rebuilding the US firm's London office after seven partners defected to Paul Hastings Janofsky & Walker, retired earlier this summer with no formal announcement. He spent one year as head of the City office before heading back to the US in February, with capital markets partner Angus Duncan taking the helm.
