Alternative billing is set to outlast the recession according to new research, which found most large US law firms now offer clients options other than hourly rates, writes The American Lawyer.
The report by consulting firm Altman Weil found that nearly all of the 218 firms that responded to the survey now offer their clients alternative-fee arrangements.
