The Parisian legal market has seen a spate of new openings in recent months as the effects of declining partnership prospects and cutbacks at many larger firms are seen. Recent examples include MGG Legal, which was launched last month by two partners from Sarrau Thomas Couderc, Marijke Granier-Guillemarre and Marion Guillet, who both started their careers at magic circle law firms. May also saw the launch of Scotto & Associes, a spin-off from Willinski Scotto & Associes.
