Several leading Nordic law firms have posted declining revenues after the global recession hit the region hard in 2009. Leading Swedish independents Mannheimer Swartling and Vinge both saw a significant drop in revenues last year. Mannheimer, which during 2008 saw double-digit growth in turnover, has posted a drop of almost 8%, taking revenues to SEK1.1bn (£88m) in 2009, down from SEK1.2bn (£90m) the previous year.
